Members: Get free Canola Diagnostic Services

Identify and manage crop diseases before they spread. MCGA members receive one free test type per field for blackleg, verticillium stripe, or clubroot.

Through Canola Diagnostic Services, Manitoba Canola Growers can acces free, lab-based testing to help identify and manage crop diseases. Tests include blackleg, verticillium stripe and clubroot.

  • Submit a sample: Fill out the form on our website to submit your field sample request to the Canola Diagnostic Services. Once received and approved, you will receive a confirmation email with your Sample ID and further instructions.
  • Follow guidelines: To ensure accurate and reliable disease diagnostics, please use the sampling instructions booklet for each target disease.
