Seeding and Spraying College

The follow up to our 2019 Combine College event, the 2020 Seeding & Spraying College will focus on two critical operations on every Manitoba farm. The day will consist of practical agronomic sessions, equipment and aftermarket showcases, and two top-notch keynote speakers. Come and network with industry experts and other Manitoba farmers as we prepare for the Spring of 2020.

8:30 am – Registration opens

9:30 am – Event starts

9:45 am – Seeding Keynote Speaker

10:20 am – Morning Breakout Sessions*

-Equipment + Aftermarket Showcase

12:15 pm – Lunch (provided!)

1:35 pm – Afternoon Breakout Sessions*

-Equipment+Aftermarket Showcase

3:30 pm Tom Wolf, Spraying Keynote Speaker

4:30 pm –Wrap-up

*Break out sessions are designed for you to pick + choose which sessions you would like to take part in. Topics include:

Variable rate seeding

Where + how much phosphorous

Nozzle selection

Dealing with sprayer rinsate

Optimizing planters across the rotation

Novel weed control technology

Preparing the seed bed in 2020

*Breakout session topics and time are subject to change.

CCA and CCSC credits will be available.

* Members of the Manitoba Canola Growers, Manitoba Corn Growers, Manitoba Wheat and Barley Growers, and/or National Sunflower Assocations qualify for a post event rebate of $20 per assocation. Please check the associations that you are a member of during the on-line registration process.
