Join us July 23 for a Crop Management Field Tour, hosted in partnership with our friends at Manitoba Crop Alliance and Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers at Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Portage la Prairie Research Farm.
This farmer-focussed field tour will feature informative sessions on the impact of precision planting compared to traditional seeding in soybeans and canola, nutrient management, the impact of crop residue management on weed populations and soil moisture, and the use of controlled traffic farming to manage soil compaction and water infiltration.
Following a busy morning of sessions, lunch will be provided for attendees from 12-1pm.
Cost to register is $30. Farmer members will be given a rebate of $10 for each association they are a member with (Manitoba Canola Growers Association, Manitoba Pulse and Soybean Growers, and Manitoba Crop Alliance). If you are a member of all three, this event is FREE!
Spaces are limited so register early to hold your spot! We hope to see you there!
